Second successful exit: Tommy van Reijen invests in SRXP
Walvis Participates has sold its stake in SRXP to Lumitor, entrepreneur Tommy van Reijen’s investment firm. SRXP digitizes the declaration process for companies and in four years, has become the market leader in the Netherlands. This is the second successful exit for Walvis, the J.A Fentener van Vlissingen family’s investment fund.
Pieter Verbruggen, SRXP founder and CEO: “Without our Walvis investment, we wouldn’t have been able to grow so fast. SRXP is now used in more than 40 countries and we keep growing. “In the past year, investor Tommy van Reijen advised Pieter Verbruggen and is confident about the future.”You may be surprised to learn that many large companies still haven’t optimized the declaration process. Despite the fact that we live in a digital era, thousands of employees still use Excel sheet and submit receipts at the end of the month. I see opportunities to further develop SRXP with strategic partners and to strengthen and expand our position as a market leader,” says Tommy van Reijen.
John A. Fentener van Vlissingen founded his first company in 1975. And in 40 years, he has expanded his business into a global group of solid companies: Boron Management, BCD Group and Walvis Group. With this expertise, Walvis Participates helps young Dutch Internet companies to grow into global players.
