On June 11, 2018, the French Chamber of Commerce announced the winners of the seventh annual Trade Trophies competition of France – Pays-Bas. Sia Partners won the Business Development award. Jimini’s, a French company, was awarded the Startup award. And Connexxion won the Jury award for Coup de Coeur.
Each year, the Trade Trophies are awarded to businesses that promote the trade relationship between the Netherlands and France. A special prize went to Kajsa Ollongren, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. She received the Personality of the Year Award because of the connection she developed between France and the Netherlands during her visit to Paris. Among other things, this relationship has contributed to the start of joint emergency aid to Sint Maarten. On June 11, the official presentation of the awards was hosted during a gala dinner at the Sofitel Legend The Grand hotel in Amsterdam.
